This might seem a very stupid question but i need help.

I only use eukhost to host my files not the actual website hosting, i've now registered a new website hosting and want to have the web pages on there. Now i know how to upload the webpages but how do i have the website hosting just as www. patrickmcguinness.net insteed of what i would have it as www. patrickmcguinness.net/index.htm. so theres no redirct thats what i'm trying to say.

index.htm is the default page if you dont put index.html or index.php in your public_html directory.

You dont need to put index.htm at the end of your domain name if index.htm is the only index page for your website hosting. Please try this and let us know if you face any problems with this.
