Hi,

I'm an ASP/.Net developer and for password authentication stuff I use ASPProtect, it's simple to install + very effective. The full version is packed full of good features, and so is the free one, you can download the free version from http://www.aspprotect.com.

Thats only if you're on a Windows hosting package, if you're on a Linux 1 I would highly recommend going for a Javascript password system, not very protective, but still works and simple to install if you're a noobie.

Heres a good link for Javascript systems: http://javascript.internet.com/passwords/

If you're more experienced and on Linux I would have a look through the hotscripts PHP password authentication directory at http://www.hotscripts.com/PHP/Script...ion/index.html. If you need any help or more info don't hesitate to post here, we will all help you out, I'm sure.

if you have cpanel you could it easily with a .htaccess, or generate one with Ryan's script that he posted..

.htaccess isn't really the best one to use, since it easy to get the login credentials like with a javascript version...

How about some sort of CMS, can't personally recommend one, but i'm sure there is one to suit your requirements.
