Question Oscommerce

Can anyone tell me how to remove the error messages numbered 1 - 4 on my shopping cart

www. mugworld.co.uk/shoppingcart

Also any tips on how to write my own message or generally customise it without too much messing about? I am a complete beginner and i am finding this very complicated.

Thanks

theyaren't error messages, they are telling you to set up the cart

I would recommend you hire someone to do it (me, especially)
or read the osCommerce tutorial

I can't understand any of the tutorial. I usually find a straight answer to a straight question works much better than these tutorial things. My hosting company have just dumped it on me and left me to deal with it. All i want is a shopping cart people can use. How much would you want to sort it out?

No hosting company would help you with setup of shopping cart. You have to learn to configure it on your own as you will be doing many changes in it in future and you cannot have someone else to do it for you all the time.

I hope "bccruzer" would do it for you but next time you want to make any changes in payment gateway or products then you will need to do it on your own.

I had no problem loading products and naming categories. The only problem i have is this php stuff. For some unknown reason the default seems to be set so nobody can buy anything. I need to get rid of the text on the front page

If you are the only administrators of your Oscommerce shopping cart then you should be aware of all of it's features;
You can go through the mentioned website hosting where you may find your answer: www. help4hosters.com/prod_scripts_free.php

By the way these scripts are just to clear old entries.
Will not be able to provide much help in the issue mentioned by Hawklord.
Hawklord, I too think that you will have to learn to configure it on your own as admin said.
Otherwise get the help from Bccruzer and learn from him.
