Setting up sub domains

Hi,

A few weeks ago a found really useful instructions on here for setting up subdomains / additional domains through cPanel, and then pointing domain names registered elsewhere to them. I've got a few domain names with godaddy and I want to set up website hostings for them individually here on my eukhost account.

Can anyone here point me to where I can find that info? I'm completely stumped as to how to start the whole thing off.

You can add the domain via cPanel under "Addon Domains" - see cPanel documentation for details.

But BEFORE you add any domains to the addon domain section, you need to ensure that the nameservers of the domains you want to add are pointed to the server - if you are on a shared hosting setup, you'll need to consult eUKHost to get these nameservers.

Thanks for that, that's a good place to start, I can start the ball rolling now.

If anyone knows where the article on this website hosting is that explains the whole process I'd still be interested in finding it - I remember it being particularly good if you haven't got a clue about how it all works.

Also to find out the nameservers if you are on shared hosting and your original domain name is also registered through eUKhost you can go to www.eukhost.com/mb/ and check the nameservers there.
