Blog advice please ?

Hi all,
I've tried all 3 of the blog providers on the CP [WP/Evo/Nucleus] and don't really like any of them.
So some questions . . .
1. Is it ok for me to use another if I load it myself ? [I know it's ok to update but what about install]
2. Can anyone advise a really simple to use blog ? [it will be used by forum members who come in all shapes and abilities]

Hello Jon,

Please choose Wordpress only as most of us have expertise in Wordpress and we can help you in a better way if you choose Wordpress. Default theme of wordpress looks odd so you will need to consider some themes available through google.

You can find themes on main website of Wordpress but customization of theme will take couple of hours or days so you need to reserve that much time to make a good looking blog.

Hi Mark,
I was going to use Word Press but it needs updating which looks so complicated I left it well alone.
It needs access to the database on the CP and I don't want to go messing around in case I mess things up.
If you will update it then I'll use it ok ?

We will take care of updates but make sure you install it from Fantastico

Upgrading from Fantastico takes only 2 - 3 mouse clicks. Make sure you make backup of your account from Backup Manager section of your control panel before you make changes as restoring backups becomes quite easy using cpanel backup / restore wizard.
