Default Configuring Spamassasin

Hi,

Where do I go to configure spam assasin. Do I have to configure it on a single basis, or can I do it by domain or individual pop account.

Can a pop account user configure it on a their own account only.

Thanks

Paul

SpamAssassin is configured for a complete account and there is no way to configure rules individually for pop3 accounts. We have custom spam protection configuration on our servers which manages to clear close to 90% of the spams from server but we cannot reduce the remaing 10% as that will get very close to blocking genuine emails.

Hi,

OK - where do I go to configure the defaults for my account. Does the spam get automatically deleted? I'd rather get it tagged as spam (can you tag it with different scores), so the user can use a filter to file them and check against them later to make sure no genuine mail is getting flagged.

Thanks

Paul

You have that option in your control panel. Go through the email section of your cpanel and you will find it over there.

You have option to get th spams deleted or get them retagged with custom changes in subject field.
