HI,

I have not yet had a reply when I posted on the asp mysql forum and I havent had a reply to my ticket so I am hoping I get some help here as my website is kinda stuck till I do.

Basically as soon as I upload any sort of web.config file to the www directory of my webpage the hosting controller breaks. When you try and go to the admin page you just get an asp.net error which it cant show as custom errors cant be viewed. However if I use the ip address it works.

Also AJAX will not work on my website. I get a javascript error 'Sys is undefined' which is the error you get when you try and use AJAX controls with a web.config not configured for AJAX. However, my web.config is ajax enabled and works fine locally.

I wonder since the web.config I uploaded breaks hosting controller and also AJAX doesn't work if I am doing somethign wrong.. or you are not meant to upload your own web.config.

Anyway any help is greatly appreciated.

I need to know the ticket number as without a ticket number I wont be able to do anything for you.

It is ticket number 71 according to the email. Is this the number you are looking for?

actually our helpdesk is located at http://support.eukhost.com but it seems that you have opened the ticket from the control panel. I'll have someone to check it from the control panel but make sure that you don't open ticket from the control panel.

We inform customers in welcome email that our helpdesk is located at http://support.eukhost.com and there's no way for us to disable the helpdesk inside the control panel or billing system as those are third party softwares.

Oops sorry about that. You never think back to these things if you don't have problems straight away.

Jack mentioned that Ajax was working fine on all other accounts and his custom Ajax testing script worked fine in your account as well. He's not able to figure out why your Ajax script has problems.

I think that he has replied to your ticket from control panel but if not then open a ticket from http://support.eukhost.com as this way I will also have access to the ticket to keep a track.

Hi,

I have posted a ticket with the support website (#GOV-38512-599). I reckon I would be able to diagnose the problem myself if I could see the asp.net error but I can't find a way to see the actual error.

Hi Colin,
Your ticket [#GOV-38512-599] has been replied. Let us know if you are still facing any problems with your website.
Also, point out to a specific URL which throws the above mentioned AJAX error.
