Unhappy phpMyAdmin errors.... plz explain

Please advise,
when i tried to click on phpMyAdmin from the cpanel, i got the error message:

#2002 - The server is not responding (or the local MySQL server's socket is not correctly configured)

I also have another problem with my cpanel/whm mySQL errors, from the cpanel i tried to add phpChat ... ect none of them working in cPAddon Scripts v0.7.1.

After i created MySQL DB and install it, here's the errors message:

The MySQL service appears to be down. Please contact your administrator.
Cleaning up failed install...Done!

Then i go back to cpanel/whm trying to restart mySQL services, i got this message:

Restarting MySQL
Attempting to restart MySQL Server
Waiting for MySQL Server to restart.... . . . . . . . . . . finished.

MySQL status:
usr/bin/mysqladmin: connect to server at 'localhost' failed error: 'Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)' Check that mysqld is running and that the socket: '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' exists! MySQL Server has failed, please contact the sysadmin (result was "Warning, no valid mysql.sock file found.mysql has failed").

Hello Nguyen,

Please try and stick to one thread. Opening multiple threads only leads to confusions and delays. Fantastico has been enabled for your server.

Hi,

It seems that MySQL down or has stopped working on your server. Can you provide the IP address here ?
Or you can come on our live chat support or place a ticket with our helpdesk dept with the server details.. It'd be fixed quickly
