you don't need to login in cpanel to go to webmail. you can login in webmail from http://domain.com/webmail/

I think he may be looking for code so that he can enter in the username and password in a PHP box and go directly to mail, instead of having to go through the pop up box for username and pass, kinda like you do on commercial emails like yahoo etc. I may be wrong.

I think thats what he means as well. But surly for the trouble caused its easier to go to www.domain.com/webmail and log in.

Is there a specific reason why you want PHP code to create your own log on form? Might be able to help a bit more if you explain your needs .

this is possible but you will need root access for respective server. best option is to take a vps and implement this. some of our customers have designed custom webmail interface and you can also purchase certain paid webmail packages online to match interface of yahoo and gmail. not sure if you can get all those functionalities in other webmail packages but at least you can have something that your customers will like more than horde or squirrelmail.

honestly speaking, I don't think that anything would be as good as outlook or Thunderbird but if your customers travel a lot and need webmail only then you have to consider a VPS and install a custom webmail package.

Good point with the Outlook and Thunderbird option! That is the easiest of them all!

I use Thunderbird, but for my boss, he is on the road and he likes Squirrell i think it is. It would be good to have an option to log on via the main website instead of the pop up login, but its not biggie.
