SMF Version update

Hi all,
I've just installed SMF forum to one of my domains only to be informed that there is an update available.
It's currently version 1.1.3 and the update is 1.1.4.
Will you update it for me or do I do it via ftp ?

if you have install it using FTP then the updates need to be done using FTP only.

If you installed it using cpanel scripts library or Fantastico then the upgrade can be done from same section of your control panel.

I'm sure you can now update SMF automatically from your forum's control panel. I can't remember if that IS an actual feature or not.

Thanks to both of you for your replies !
Sorry, I did'nt really explain myself very well in my initial post, you are quite right Ben, it's a simple install [Package section in Admin panel] and takes minutes.
I just was'nt sure about updating any software in the CP without the permission of eUKHosts admin, so wanted to ensure it would be ok. It seemed to me to be a bit like altering someone else's work if that makes sense ?
I have now installed and updated it so hope that's ok ?!
