If you have good hands on SSH then then you can go to following directory :-

/usr/local/cpanel/etc/exim/cf/

you will see some files over there. I managed to echo ( empty contents of files ) files in it which had boxtrapper configuration. BoxTrapper is the biggest mess added by cpanel and its really difficult to get rid of boxtrapper. attributes of all those files have been changed by me so cpanel wont be able to restore their contents again.

Could you make this change on VC10 too please? I gave Paul an email address on my hosting account (pratt.me.uk) on VC10 which he has been monitoring, and found that some (but less than it was on his VPS before your change) email was failing to be delivered there.

I'ld just like to be sure that all email I get sent is indeed getting delivered.

Well done for getting to the bottom of this one!

Cheers,

Chris

Yes Sir

This has been done on vc10 as well. let me know the results as I'll need to see if the problem gets fixed or not coz our system admins have integrated custom spam protection scripts on vc10 so I need to know if my changes work for you or not.

Just thought I'd add - I'm really pleased how drastically the number of spam emails I was receiving reduced when I moved my hosting to eUKHost.

Thank you!

good to hear that. We have some good scripts to reduce spams by at least 90% but some customers want to deal with spams on their end so that makes things difficult. We made a policy to keep our scripts and those who wanted all spams to come to their mailbox were offered VPS solution.
