Default Statics on my Websites

I have an advanced Reseller account, and in the cPanels of the various websites I have, I see the "Statistics Software Configuration" link, but I can't seem to turn on the stats there, weather I'm logged on as the client, or my master account. How do I turn statistics on/off for my domains, using either the cPanel or the WHM?

Statistics can be turned on / off only by the root user. If you want to turn them off then remove respective configuration file from the "tmp" directory which is just below the public_html directory.

As the root user, do I use the WHM/cPanel, and what option do I need to use?

You have a reseller plan so you don't get root access. Best way to enable or disable statistics for accounts of your customers is to modify your feature list for their packages.

Simply scroll down to the packages section in your WHM and click on "Feature Manager". You can make a new feature list from there and you can disable awstats or webalizer from the feature list. Edit the package assigned to respective client account and assign this feature list to that package.

Respective statistic software will get disabled from the control panel of that particular account.

This is a little strange. I've edited my "Unlimited" package, which I'm using for domains that I own myself, but putting them on as Client websites, and I have EVERYTHING ticked there, but on the relevent websites, I'm still getting the stats as disabled when I look at them.

That, and when I go into the "Web/FTP Stats" bit, I can't see Awstats at all, and that's the one I'm really interested in using.

I found that awstats was not enabled on Puma for some unknown reason and seems like your account is also on Puma. I have ebabled Awstats from root login so it should show in your cpanel and WHM as well.

right now upcp is running on it so check after 30 minutes.

Wait, now Analog stats has disappeared. And all 3 of them are STILL showing as little red 'x's in the "Statistics Software Configuration" screen.

I have eneabled analog stats but you need to wait for 24 hours for logs to generate and awstats will work after that. If you can provide me with your reseller account username then I can look into your control panel to see the problem.

"Statistics Software Configuration" is to schedule time when stats should be allowed to execute and by default we have 24 hours allowed in it. You cannot change it from your end. You can only enable / disable stats for your resold accounts.
