Where is cPanel?

OK, this is a very silly question I fear but....where is cPanel?!

I've just registered with eUKhost and I want to start setting things up but I can't find cPanel when I login. Does it take time to become available, i.e. once the domain has propogated?

After Domain has circulated the net:

yourdomain.com/cpanel

yourdomain.com:2082

Before Domain has circulated the net:

http://serverip/cpanel

http://serverip:2082/

I believe that if the server has SSL enabled or something similar, you can use a secured login by entering https:// before the domain, and connecting to port 2083 rather than 2082. I am not sure if the same applies to eUKhost, but I believe that it is true for some websites out there.

All our servers have SSL setup for WHM and cpanel login. You can access your control panel using https://serverIP:2083 and https://serverIP:2087

for secure webmail it would be https://serverIP:2096

Jon, I would recommend logging into cPanel via the secured page (port 2083), simply because it is that little bit more secure. However, be sure to login via the server's IP address, as eukhost.com states, to avoid unwarranted warnings regarding the SSL certificate.
