whm cpanel fantastico
<h1>whm cpanel fantastico</h1>Just curious to know what people think about combination of this 3. As far as I am concerned I think this is the best combination and no other control panel comes with so many features.
Hsphere is one of the feature rich control panel but security bugs with hsphere make it hacker friendly.
As far as Fantastico is concerned I think it has made life really easy for developers and web masters. You can install multiple scripts from Fantastico with 2 - 3 clicks and get back to your customer saying that I have setup portal, forum, helpdesk, blog, gallery and a content management system for your website.
It takes only 2 - 5 mins for someone to install those but those who have no knowledge of Fantastico think that the webmaster has done great job for them.
Your suggestions and discussion on this would be appreciated

Yes, thats true, that is what i call "true professionalism with the layman fools". When i had started hosting my website, i too was not aware of any of my control panel aspects which i reviewed and realised later, now i prefer reading the blogs especially one on eukhost which updates me daily like the way it gets updated.
With my personal experience i would like to say to all the customers that to built the power of knowledge and to avoid not being a fool like i was , you can take a glance at it and i am sure you will find your answers there.
cheers

Definitely cpanel along WHM and fantastico has simplified a lot of things for everyone; hence it is preferred by everyone.

As I see C panel is partial hosting automation, where as Hsphere is a complete one. Hsphere uses EasyApps. It's a bit hard for user to learn and start with. Today customers are more inclined towards easy way and instant results. With the combination of fantastico with C panel made it easy and instant. So this is the choice of many Administrators today. As it is the added point for them as a quick service providers.

And you can also keep watch on the new version for WHM, soon coming with these features added.... APF, BFD, Shorewall, Logs, as well as other security addons. You can block bad IPs, you can view banned IPs all this right through WHM. This will be a great product which ads security for the beginners/server admin.

What if you need to upgrade the installed package every month ?
phpbb, joomla, phpnuke, mambo and some other softwares get outdated every 2 - 3 months and if you dont upgrade then you have a threat of database injection or php injection.
Fantastico allows you to upgrade all softwares automatically when new version is available and that makes like easy for busy webmasters.
I hope you agree to this fact

cPanel WHM Fantastico
As we all know cPanel is the best control panel to manage multiple domains with ease. WHM creates customer accounts which instantly sets up with cPanel. Using the WebhostManager interface, one can control every aspect of his/her hosting accounts. While Building different types of websites such as classified ads, online directory or blog can be accomplished very easily by using Fantastico. So It's imperative that these three should be offered together in a hosting package.
So my question is does eukhost offer WebHostManager/CPanel and Fantastico with all Multiple domain hosting packages also?

Interesting that you like to install and set up things manually. Advantage is that you can set it up as you want. The only thing is how much time you have to spend over. As admin said if you have to upgrade in every 2 or 3 months then it is quite cumbersome for most of the webmasters. But if one has this option of cpanel with fantastico then must think of it.

Hello Peter,
We offer cPanel+WHM+Fantastico in our reseller hosting plans. It seems that you have good hands on both cPanel and WHM so our reseller plans should be perfect for you.
If you would like to have all options in WHM like a dedicated server or root user has then you should choose one of our VPS plans alongwith cpanel control panel addon. There are many more features in WHM incase of root users.
Resellers are given limited options as you dont need services like setup cluster, remote access key, change root password, tweak settings, tweak security and restart services like exim, cpanel, http, mysql, pgsql.
I am quite sure you wont get all this features enjoyed by roto user for anything close to £20 per month with 10 GB Space and 200 GB Bandwidth.
We donot restrict number of mysql databases, pop3+smtp accounts, mailing lists, addon / parked domains on any of our hosting plans including shared cpanel and shared windows plans. Only restrictions you have are space and bandwidth.
You can host unlimited number of addon / parked domains in any of our hosting plans.

Yes indeed cpanel is one of the best web hosting control panels today, its features are quite upto the required specifications, well what is the best about this one is that it actually helps me in managaing mysql database or even adding or removing any accounts, the best of the feature is that you can check the statistics of the websites i.e. it gives you a detailed information of number of hits, the amount of traffic incoming, backlinks and many more.As far as cpanel is concerned i would rather give it a 5 star status.
You could also check the following link which gives you the information about different types of control panel, you give them a try and see what suits you the best -

well I am new here and hope can post this message under this topic cause it cover the area with a slightly different twist. I just brought a website from eukhost (mainly after reading the forums and seeing how quick they replied and tried the 24x7 help desk) and I currently setting up for example Oscommerce shopping cart, just to name one. And it sure make it much easier. In fact added a few scripts to see if my wife like them (she will be adding to the website mostly not me.) So have to say that Fantasico is great.
But I think I found one problem by mistake.
After adding all these scripts etc. I went to add "Soholaunch Pro"
I could add it to the sub-domain / remove it no problem.
But if I add it to the main domain the following message comes up.
"you choose to install in the main directory of the domain
but there are conflicting filenames, therefore we can not proceed.
following filenames already exist in the main directory of the domain (path="/home/username/public_html/").
you must manually remove these files before proceeding with auto-installation"
So it seem from that one would have to put that on "FIRST" before making one website, adding other scripts etc? Which also lead to will Fantasico be able to upgrade the panel in 2/3 months time when a new one come out if website is by than completed?
NB: If need to install it first, might be worth putting in the description that it needs to be installed first.

My first cp i used was Plesk, and going to cPanel made things a lot easier.

cPanel with fantastico is definitely the best solution for any webmaster, and those who are new to this industry. No questions about it, cP, WHM, & fantastico are the best.

I've tried a host with Ensim as a control panel. It's slower and not as feature rich as cpanel. Doing site back ups, seemed to take forever.
