Abraham Biggs Commits Suicide in front of Webcam

Abraham Biggs who was only 19 years of age committed suicide in front of Webcam. This has been reported as second incident on internet.

Biggs's gave a reason that he hated his life and was not taken seriously on a bodybuilding forum. :S

what do you think ?

This is horrible. I can't believe that people actually cheered him on. It just goes to show that there's so little hope for these generations coming up. Kids just left to themselves and so little "family" available to help overcoming depression. Part of this blame should go to this computer age which is used for far more bad than good.

Doubtful. Like most things on the Internet people are generally unaccountable as well as moderately hard to trace. Plus you can only prove who was connected where not the individual using the machine.

People caught will claim anything from account hacks and ID fraud to alien abduction...

Its sad. From what I heard on the news people didn't think he had really did it at first and watched for a few hours after he died and then realised he had actually done it and alerted the authorities.

They guy was bipolar and very depressed according to the news today.
Many people watched and a few people did report it.
I can see it going unreported because how many emo type's do we get typing they will kill themselves and nothing ever comes of it.
It is not my cup of tea to watch a suicide, even if I think they are not going to do it. It takes a "special" kind of person to watch a person kill themselves, whether they believe they will do it or not. All them viewers need some counselling and locking up IMHO. Nothing legal will happen to them I dont think.

Yes, its a very sad case. I too would not watch something this nor do I desire to - whether the threat is genuine or otherwise.

I think its just a very sad case that a 19 year old young boy has felt he had to kill himself to solve his problems. I do firmly beleive suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. My thoughts are with his family.

Also, yes, I think the people who have watched it probably have underlying mental problems or difficulties themselves so they should also probably seek some help otherwise it might turn into them in the end!
