I honestly don't care which operating system is better than another, because I'm not in this computer thing for that. I'm in it for the fun of fiddling with some rather remarkable toys. I'm using Windows Vista right now, but in all honesty I consider myself a Linux fanboy; there's just so many different flavours out there, and so much you can do with it, and really there isn't any selling point for me to own a Windows PC when there are plenty of feasible alternatives that offer the same functionality on GNU/Linux.

I was in the right place at the right time
A Microsoft event in central London to be exact, they had a copy of Vista Ultimate and Office Ultimate lying around, and they let me make off with both

No, its "Microsoft advertising" (according to the EU its anti-competitive behaviour, but supposedly they are giving free Microsoft products since open source communities complained  ) - another good tactic by Microsoft!!

So really just to suck you in to actually purchase more Microsoft products..... - but even still I wouldn't mind them using this tactic on me!!! Wheres my free Vista Ultimate Bill?
