Well, the future media will transform our perception but adoption of new technologies solely depends on the level and choice of consumer demand and overall acceptance not by how good the future technology looks like from where we are today.

I understand that - I think there would be a lot of interest in it - even if its just to "know it" as opposed to it being directly and immidiately useful to someone.

I can see them being used in resteraunts, certainly if they bring the price down, as it would mean less staff. Mix that with a serving robot, and the only human you'll need is a chef
