Default omg, powercut takes my hdd out!!

just had a power cut, and its taken my 400 gigler hdd out.

cant believe it, full as well, all my music, home videos, pictures, all irreplaceabel stuff of my little lad in hospital etc etc ,


aaarrrgh.


theres is light though, just got hold of an amazing program, and have managed to recovered it all (spread over 3 120 gig hdds though.

just reminds you that hdd can brake.

actually amazes me what stuff it can show thats been on the hdd, truly amazing, stuff i`d deleted months ago is still there

nothing naughty mind, but you can imagine how these pado`s get caught.

i know, anyway, data recovery software worked, and got everything back , took about 8 hours, but its all there

you should have a UPS device saves a lot of time ad effort rebuilding

I'll probably get an UPS next time I upgrade the comp. Some time ago during some work on an electrical substation nearby I pretty much lost the entire computer when the power browned out. The mobo, sound card, TV card, HD and DVD were all totaled.
