Default Cannot Install Easymod......

Basically i have a phpbb 2.?? forum installed under my domain.

I have been trying for months to try and install easymod to my forum.

But i am getting nowhere fast.

I have even let the author of easymod have a bash and he is stumped.

Has anybody come across this before?

Any help would be most appreciated!

Hi,

Are you hosted with eUKhost? Also, what is the problem you're facing exactly?

We can install easyMOD for you. I'd recommend you to install phpBB v3.0, it's a much improved version of phpBB.
Please provide us the domain so that we can proceed further.

Thanks for your quick replies.

My domain is www.geekyforums.co.uk

I am not allowed to post urls as i do not have over 5 post by the way. LOL.

I have tried phpbb3 but to be honest i prefer version 2.

I can install the forum fine and get it set up the way i like it. But i cannot for the life of me get easymod to install.

Any help you can offer would be most gratefull!

Moderator note: I have over five posts URL edited

PHPBB3 it terrible (in my humble opinion).

I was considering moving to it until I started playing about with it, I think I shall stick to 2 until support for it dries up.

Another thing I thought I would mention, easymod isn't that great, I installed it ages ago and it is very limited to say the least, you basically need to have a totally clean install of the software or else it won't actually add on any of the mods you want.

Having said that, some people swear by it, so I suppose it is very much a personal choice.

Just email 'support [at] eukhost.com' and they'll be able to do it for you.
