Help with 2 things please

Hi all

Ive just ordered a Package and Domain because im looking to make my own Forum,
there 2 things i would like to know, first thing is how to i install a new skin for my forum?
i found one or two i like here http://www.phpbb3styles.net/ dont know if any one knows any where else to get some skins or styles for pbpbb3?

and the second thing is how can i back up my forum? because if some one hacks my forum or i mess something up can i just restore it back to the last time i back it up ?

I have uploaded the files called

template.cfg
theme.cfg
imageset.cfg
style.cfg

put when i got to my forum to install the style, this error comes up:

You can download backup of your whole account from cpanel backup manager which is there in your cPanel control panel. You can also download database backup or backup of files only.

It seems you are using Cold Fusion templates which are not supported on our servers. You will need to find some other free templates besides .cfg

Is the skin compatible with the version you have ? I presume you have Gold PHPBB3 (Release 3.0). Alot of skins out there are still only working with Beta and RC versions of the board. You need to extract the whole folder from the zip and just say (presuming its SemiGreen) skin you upload it to /Forum/Styles there then go into the Admin CP - Styles and then in Uninstalled Styles you will see SemiGreen. If you do not see it there I suggest DL the skin again and make sure its not in a "/SemiGreen/SemiGreen/ folder. Many come packed that way. It needs to be in just a SemiGreen/ Then the files

yea im useing 3.0 phpbb3 , yea the style comes up in the list and its got install next to it, but when i click install it comes up with that error.

also can u tell where i can get a skin for phpbb3 which works on 3.0 ?

I got a few from that website. If you send me the link to the skin you got I can try and install it on my boards and see if it works. www.startrekguide.com also has some nice skins.

o right didnt see that u wrote u dont support .cfg i cant seem to find any templates that dont have .cfg

bit pointless having this site if i cant get the skins for it, are u ever gonna support cfg?

I suppose there is some misunderstanding. Mr. Mark (eUKHost.com) has misread your post. He has read .cfg as .cfm.

.cfg should be supported on our servers as it stands for "Configuration file".

Aeroblue installed fine for me the other didnt.
Did you see in the aeroblue folder it structures aeroblue/aeroblue/"the files here"
You dont upload it all like that it needs to be aeroblue/"the files"

i go to public_html then to styles then i make the folder and upload all 4 cfg files into that, is this right?
