MySQL Backup

Ok having seen Mark's posting about "the importance of backups" Ive decided thats its probably not a good idea to hide from the fact that I dont know how to backup and restore my MySQL Server databases using phpmyadmin.

So could some kind soul please give me a few pointers?

Its not enough to have just my templates backed up is it really, kinda silly of me not to get round to doing this sooner!
