Hi what are the limitations of the php mail() function on the Linux VPS if any?

I dont think there are any other than the limitations on memory. You get less memory on a VPS as memory of the the whole node ( Master Server ) is divided into different parts.

As per my knowledge php mail uses less memory so it should be perfect

For other peoples information I have set my website to send 25 emails at once with a 10 second gap.

This takes a while but stops script crashing

If you can share the code then that should be very helpful for our other customers.

you can always use the phpmailer class if you want more control.

It can sometimes be a lot simpler to do things in it especially if your sending thigns like attachments.
