Unhappy Zencart install issue

Hi there,

I have uploaded the files for Zencart, when viewing the install page i get this error.

Warning: is_dir() [function.is-dir]: open_basedir restriction in effect. this is stopping me installing Zencart.

Is there away to fix this problem.

Cheers

Richard

Let me know your domain name. I will exclude your domain name from open_basedir protection.

Default Zencart permisions issue

Hi, support sorted this for me, but i have another issue,

I am on a Windows hosting plan.

when installing zencart i get the error, configuration.php is not writable, so i use the ACL manager to allow readwrite access to the main iis service account name.net_web. Then zencart installs fine, but after that trying to change the readwrite access to read only does not seem to work the ACL pages go through the motion of applying the new
permissions but nothing actually changes.

Any ideas

Cheers

Thumbs up

Hello Richard,

This has been fixed. Proper permissions are set to the configuration.php file. Check the same at your end & let us know if you need anything else.

it was fixed by right clicking the file --> Properties --> Attributes --> enabling the 'Read Only' checkbox.

Now you should not face any problem with the permissions.
