drupal problems
Hi,
I cannot save any nodes which have HTML in them! It just redirects to the web site hosting root (caph.org.uk).
Basically, if I create a page in drupal, type in anything and using tinymce click center, or manually do etc, and click save, I get redirected to the main site. It happens with all HTML tags - but I cannot find anything about it on the Drupal forums, so I thought it might be a permissions error or something?
Any Ideas? If you need any more info/test logins etc just let me know.
I have to get this done ASAP so any help would very much be appreciated!!!
Thanks
Peter

Thanks.
Just to let anyone who is having similar probs know, just email support and ask them to disable mod_security for the domain you want sorted.
As usual, rapid response!

This definitely sounds like mod_sec rearing its head!

More problems.......
Hi
I am having more problems with the CAPH website hosting on Drupal (caph.org.uk).
I now want the text to align center, but no matter what I do, it won't go! I have tried editing the CSS, DIV's, P tags etc etc... the chances are I have done something obvious though!
If you need a login for it then PM me.
Thanks!
Pete

Can you tell me which way(s) you are trying to do this? ie which tags? I am sure I remember when using Drupal it doesn't seem to acknowledge "align=" tags.

Have you added the TinyMCE WYSIWYG editor module to Drupal? If not I would recommend installing it as it can do things like align text and images with one click and makes other formatting options and coding appear at the click of a mouse button .

I couldn't find a version of TinyMCE for Drupal 6 though - I tried installing one last week but it was for Drupal 5 and didn't seem to work properly...

Hmmmm, theres three ways from here.
1. Downgrade to Drupal 5 and install the relevant TinyMCE version.
2. Stay with Drupal 6 and wait for an updated TinyMCE version to be published - I can't imagine this will be too long.
3. Have a play about with the layers and div tags, maybe create a new layer that is centre aligned? Or place the text in a text box and centre align it in that?

Thx David - will try the third one first, then if not I will downgrade (any easy way to do this? I have the web site hosting built... and am using the Fantastico installation).
Cheers

After my investigations I believe I have found something which will be the best option for you.
akie.nl » TinyMCE for Drupal 6
Hope that helps  .

GRR! I am really ashamed of myself now. Just been through both the page template & the CSS file getting rid of the align tags, and guess what? One single line in the CSS file said
Code:
.node .content {
text-align: left;
Oh well, I seem to have finally sorted it! Thanks for your help David - just out of interest TinyMCE doesn't align it properly either.
I hate it when it is a simple error!!! especially one I should have thought of anyway!

Oh well, at least you saw it in the end. The main thing is that the problem is fixed! Good luck with your web site hosting .
