Can anyone recommend a good PHP MySQL Hotel/ villa rental reservation management script? Done acouple of googles for it but nothing seems to stand out except for a joomla extensions (which I'm thinking about). Idealy I would like some sort of Paypal API in order to accept deposits. Preferably free but don't mind paying for something if its good. Just trying to save a bit of time.

With you having specific requirements I would think you may end up having to write it yourself (if possible) or paying for it to be done or another script modified. Like you said though you could look into the Joomla extensions that you have found. Paypal offer tools to integrate it into your website hosting but I do believe they charge for these services, especially if you are a business.

I think you should give more payment option to your customers especially those who want to pay through credit card. Depending your location you can use google checkout/2checkout or any other payment system alongwith paypal.

Yes that is true, although Paypal do let you pay by debit card and direct bank transfer as well and I do believe they accept credit cards also for a nominal percentage of the total transaction

Ideally I would like to give further options for payment, but first I need to find something?? I could write it myself but I thought that I would be able to perhaps keep costs and development time down by usinga ready made script if one was available.
