An alpha version of Opera 10 is now available for public testing and general sneak peaks of the latest upcoming release of the Opera web browser. It includes a variety of new features including, something I really like, spell-checker as you type and the red underlined text is nicely visible should you make typos or what not
The thing that strikes me is the number of versions and the upcoming version of Opera - already Opera 10! Probably in the year 2000 they had version 7 or something lol. They have been around since around 1994 according to Wikipedia, and if you take into account versioning with Firefox, seems Opera likes to make lovely leaps as soon as possible

I've been using Opera for some time now, probably about 3-4 days and I quite like it, its quite fast and has built-in cookie manager where you can modify and delete individual cookies by going to the "Delete Private Data" section which I like to do when I'm creating new scripts and testing cookie security.
The major problem I use to have which I have got use to is if you double-click on text
and hyperlinks it shows right-click options, which is annoying if you aren't use to Opera. They, unfortunate for some (
) still have this feature in Opera 10
for text only, you can double-click hyperlinks fine in Opera 10 now.
Opera 10 surprisingly has not got one major or slightly different change to its design, rather it seems there are backbone changes: (few quotes from Opera's website)

The only problem for me in Opera 10 is Java apps that are loaded in the browser are a little weird, because if I scroll down the Java app seems stuck for a second or so.
Seems no change to the rendering of most websites I go on, which seems obvious anyway as there is no need for change with the rendering system unlike IE8 for example
