Best Advertising

I am here sitting and thinking about advertising. Every online business literally depends on traffic, the more traffic the more likely it will be, that the website hosting will be successful. The very best website hosting can be created but without traffic, with any visitors to site, what good is that site? So website hostings need traffic, that traffic will ultimately turn into buyers, customers or subscribers. A website hosting may be very well designed, with all the bells and whistles but without traffic no website hosting has much or any value.

My question is, what is the best type of advertising? There are so many different types of adverting FFA's, classified ads, traffic exchange, Link Exchange, Safelists, Solo Ad, Banner exchange, and so much more. Which type of advertising do you think is most effective? Which type of adverting yields the most and best results?

To be quite honest with you most successful online business relied or still rely on Google, so if you get penalised by them, your sales go right down the drain . It's best to have two methods of advertising, one with SERP in Google as well as trying to get a higher rank but getting backlinks and adding interesting content are all positive factors towards a web site hosting with successful Search Engine Optimization. Sometimes Google Adwords gets you profit, sometimes it nicks your money - so if you don't try, you don't know...

Apparently link exchanging is a result of Google penalising your site, don't back me up on that though but that's apparently true, but there are ways around such as three way linking (site a -> web site hosting b -> web site hosting c).

To get online recognition, the only preferred and easy method is search engines unfortunately, that's probably the loophole to finding everything on the Web... Google being the one .

In my opinion, interactive advertisement model is good because such ads create incremental shifts and brand awareness in consumer thinking such as Kiosks, POS displays, 3-D advertising, Digital signage, Advergames, Netvertising images, viral video etc.
