I’m new to the Internet and am planning to go in for a web-page / web-site for my small business. I know nothing about internet marketing and therefore would like someone to suggest me about internet marketing?

A lot can be gained or lost by the actual website hosting itself. If it is poor to navigate with awful content even the best Search Engine Optimization and marketing techniques won't get you anywhere. It may get you noticed - but for all the wrong reasons!

I like the way that new WYSIWYG editors are incorporating good Search Engine Optimization techniques and there are lots of tools out there now to help you also .

Great quote Paul - I would add that people also need to take action as so many people learn, learn, learn without ever actually 'doing' and with the web you need to do real projects and see what works and what does not rather than just theorising all the time.
