How effective is demographic website hosting selection? Is it true that it is available in United States only?

It looks like Google has added demographic website hosting selection feature for site-targeted campaigns within Adwords to compete against MSN’s adcenter. It would be interesting to see what the advertisers have to say about this adwords demographic in comparison to MSN adcenter.

So far I know YPN is yet limited to US, if you are looking for contextual advertising services, you could check with google adsense and amazon adsense, both have always encouraged the international publisher globally.

I think it is not a matter of comparison between MSN’s adCenter and Google AdWords, as they are different and act very differently. Their reach to people is different as one is banner and other is search, so with the conversion. You can say that it is a good offer from adwords of Google. IMO, it will not suppress adCenter of MSN.
