It happens due to negligence , or lack of proper understanding adsense TOS and policy . its also true some publishers are banded by the attack of enemy , So its good not to make enemy.

Also these honest people have even no second chance and they freeze the amount as well which really upset a person who has put on lot of efforts and time to earn through adsense.

Yes , But this happens with very less people , Do you how much % of publisher who are honestly working and get banded ?
This is negligible ...
If you have ideas and experiences you can do better every where not only with adsense .
Best of luck !

Well, there are quite a few people (who are honest) that have been banned from it on this forum alone so I doubt it is a "negligible" amount to be honest.
Google seem to have the policy of "Guilty until proven Innocent" in regards to Adsense .

Yes I agree, but few people learn only after making mistake as ppl who learn from others mistakes are few. In my personal opinion adsense come with risk attached for getting ban, I will not take the risk that I can not afford for.

Yes I agree - I am not going to put in time and effort into something that can be snatched away from me!

Depends really on your niche of website hosting. With an entertainment website hosting or an arcade website hosting I would use a cpm ad network with adsense.
Heres some quick details on the top tier affiliateseeking.com I currently use on my arcade.
I roughtly earn $0.45 - $0.70 CPM with this program on banner ads.
If it's not an entertainment website hosting I would us CPA and CPS affiliate programs to monetize and earn from.

I use Google Adsense... I've not banned yet, but one of my friend has... Too many clicks were on his site, it was the reason to ban him... I've tried AdBrite, Bidvertiser, and I am going to try YPN. So, I think Google AdSense is the best!

Precisly. I do understand that sometimes people abuse the system - but sometimes people also do not abuse the system and are punished for being successful.
It makes business sense really - their ads have been shown so the advertiser pays Google and then they ban the customers who have shown lots of them, so that they can keep all the profits.
Highly unethical but extremely profitable I imagine!!!

Yea I agree, it is like college making harder standardize tests, they want to stop young people from graduating college. However its just simple if adsense is not working for you try to get any other impression-based ad network-a more specialized program or use combination of both, I find few are earning more from affiliate programs rather than adsense like program.

Since they require US tax ID, I have no direct personal experience about YPN but what I see that it can work nice where adsense never worked well, you can use them in varying pages of same web site hosting and check how it work. Also different sites are targeted to different audience and as a publisher you wish to display most relevant ads.
However just in case when I look through some pages of YPN ads I find few are not quite relevant like adsense, so I am not in position to recommend one but purely on subjective view if your any web site hosting is getting 60 to 75% audience from US, YPN can work nice, nothing bad to check or if you’re allowed go for both.

Well the whole US Tax ID does make it fairly useless to most of us. Brian might be able to tell us what its like as he may have had experience with it .

Yea alternatively google seems more democratic, they take care of international clients.
