Backup for Twitter

Tweetake helps you to create a backup of your Twitter account on your computer. It allows you to back-up the people you are following, your followers and your tweets. Just enter the twitter login details and select friends, followers, your tweets and everything. You will see a 'Get'em!' button, click and proceed with the download of the files. Backup is important for your tweeter account because twitter can lose followers and does not keep your older tweets.

Thank you for sharing this with us Fabregas! Nice way of taking backup. I have more than 2500 followers. I had really worked hard to reach this number. Well, now I have a tool that can help me to get a backup.

I am confused on this and maybe since I do not tweet it makes less sense. I understand the importance of a tweet and the total counts you all have, but what is the point of having a backup if you can do nothing with it after the fact?

I think alternatively tweetbackup.com is better because it don't ask your twitter-password.
