Black Google..

I have no problem with saving energy. But with my ageing eyes white Google is definitely more appropriate for me!! I just think there are better things we could be focusing on to save energy and the world and the polar ice caps and anything else which would like to be saved .

It takes less energy to transmit black colours on a screen than white colours.

This'd be lil better for ppl getting their eyes strained : darkoogle.com/classic

I think darkoogle.com missed few things...

They are : Images, Maps, News, Shopping, Mail, Video, Groups, Books, Scholar, Blogs, Calendar, Photos, Documents, Reader, iGoogle, Sign in, Advanced Search, Preferences, Language Tools etc etc Without them, darkoogle.com looks like a limping stallion.. I hope the Google Devs get it on quickly...

On the other hand.. The pages load pretty quick for the dark one

I hope this small step will help save/conserve a lot of energy & help us save our Mother Earth ! for Google !
