Google "Robots"

I was wondering, in your opinion, how far is Google from creating a robot that will have ability to read content almost like a human? For example, robots now scan pages for content but cannot detect if content was created by some spinning software and whether is of low information quality. How likely is that to change and how soon?

I know that robots scan your pages for basic stuff but if your site gets a lot of traffic attention I'm sure it will deserve a proper inspection from a Google engineer. So my opinion is that robots are from scanning pages for advanced stuff.

Technology is there to read content embedded within the images, but deployment of such technology will need force google to multiply their servers. I am not sure if this option would be feasible for them.
