Google search results [SERPs] shows porn website hostings. Sponsored listing too!
This is wierd! I thought Google is safe and secure from porn website hostings but my office colleague found this website hosting in search results.
Isn't google aware of this or has google started allowing porn sites?
Not only that this website hosting is being sponsored by Google adwords.
just search for "my friends mom" [don't go deep in the link ]
myfriendshotmom.com

Was the safe search filter on when he searched on google? If its off, then google will return just about anything in its results.

Yes, Google has always indexed porn website hostings - its about 80% of the Internet!! You can of course filter them out but they have always been indexed as far back as I can remember and I have used Google for a long time.

I think it is moreover a moral issue, and google should look into this, the algorithm seems gone astray.

People will scream First Amendment if you don't give the option not to filter. And Google will lose a lot of traffic!!

Adult website hostings contribute good amount in Google's income. As per law you cannot question any content indexed by Google so they have nothing to show any sort of morality.
One should not forget that most of us do visit such adult website hostings at some point so there's absolutely no need to say such words about Adult Content.

Morality like words comes into the mind when they are stating in their TOS that they are not going to support porn website hostings and on other hand these website hostings are found sponsored by Google adwords as OP has stated there, also when you check the backlinks of these porn & pills website hostings you will find they are getting good number of backlinks from the trusted website hostings like .edu and they acquire good ranking as well. I think google should address these spam results somehow and fix the problem in their algorithm by picking over edu pages on those spammy keywords that gain link popularity too fast. Also as an user perspective how one can rely or get accurate and genuine information on those spammy keywords that get good results in SERPs as well?

.edu website hostings linking to porn?? - I am amazed!! Is their an example of this - I thought only education institutions could get .edu domain names - surly a school website hosting can't be linking to porn/drugs sites?!?
Own up time now then, just exactly who has visted these adult sites? (for purly educational reasons of course!!!)

Probably do, but freedom of speech usually outweighs allot here.

Yes but it brings the educational institute into disrepute and slanders its reputation. That should be the priority!!

If you see the URL carefully you will be able to make out how this has been possible. Their webmaster must have sold that hidden page to some porn website hosting owner and thats out of knowledge of University.
This is how most of the webmasters earn as Uni's don't pay them. People do this for as low as $10 for 1 year text link on internal hidden pages.
