Have any one notice that new AOL homepage looks identical to Yahoo.

AOL seems inspired by Yahoo! however I don't think it is true identical as there are still many differences there.

Make it unique. Make AOL.com something to remember rather than just being one in a crowd. It would get them more business (and believe me, after being a customer with them, they need all the help they can get!!)

Your absolutely right there, David. And lol @ mark, they do lack creativity! I like Tiscali's design: http://www.tiscali.co.uk/index_first.html Although I doubt they have changed it in years.

I hate Tiscali. They're design is sh*t and they're company and broadband service is utter bollucks. I need say anymore.

Many people do go with Tiscali because of their cheap rates. Though, I doubt they are any different, or are any better than BT.

When I moved house from Cornwall my new phone line here was already connected. So I phoned Tiscali who said that there was an internet connection still active on the line from the previous owners, which there wasn't. This was all very frustrating. In the end I phoned AOL up and they said that there was no other service on the line, so I went with them.

I knew what Tiscali said was complete crap because the previous owners used DialUp.

No one can be as bad as AOL - and I say that with utter confidence.

My reasons for this are bad service, misselling of products (where you can't even have a hope of reaching the speed) in order to gain extra commission, helplines that are, to be blunt, unhelpful with restricted opening hours, unknowledgeble technical support staff, ridiculously overprice services, intermittant access and down right unprofessionalism.

Well even Tiscali is very similar to Y! and AOL, I like http://microsoft.com, I think it is one of the best organised website hostings today.

I knew some one or the other will say this for sure.

But that is not correct, have a look at the entire website hosting and you will second my tought. I dont mean to say that it is the only website hosting best around but that is the only best website hosting I am know to.

I do like the Microsoft website hosting - but then again what do you expect from a multi billion pound corporation with thousands of staff!! If they had a bad website hosting I would be worried - how can anyone else do a good website hosting if they can't with their manpower and resources!!

I would not support that words because I strongly believe in the quotes "First impression is NEVER the last impression" & "Never to judge a person from his clothes".

Well the successes that Microsoft and Google has earned today is not just because of their website hostings but they really deserve it. They have brought a revolution in the world of Computers & Internet. Google is also a billion Dollar company but their designs are never stylish.

Your service is the heart and your product is the face of your business, website hostings do make some difference but not in the long run.

I am sorry if I have said too much but it is not an easy job to be the best in the world.
