Finally Page Ranking update has been done, many sites dropped rank drastically including my few sites in my signature,

however one of my website hosting for which I'd assigned for got a jump from 6 to 7.

lol, mines now lost a Page Ranking point - not happy!!

And I'm not sure how mine is so high.... The only thing I can think is the links from here and some of the website hostings I've designed have a higher rank than me....

Now, to beat Mark's Pagerank.... That's the plan!

We lost our PR8 but it seems that all other hosting companies have lost their Page Ranking. I am not able to see anything better than pr7 for any hosting company.

even youtube and yahoo search have lost their Page Ranking so considering their Page Ranking we are in a better position

The Page Ranking Update does seemed to have had a generally negative effect on the PR of sites. Not sure why, my PR had only just recently gone up!

Maintaining the position is crucial task, it require lot of on-going Search Engine Optimization work, try to establish more links to high profile sites, analyze traffic and your link structure and the backlinks that your website hosting is originating, check which is most rewarding and what links have been degraded overtime, try to get more inbound links to fill the gap, update your content, increase your domain views and get listed in local search engine and multiple widely searched directories, it will yield good result.

Thanks for that paul. I know it requires work and I have been a little distracted recently but it only went up a few weeks ago. Remember my little celebration topic?

Looks like I'll have to start the up hill battle again to get back on the Page Ranking ladder!
