Cool What Search Engine Optimization technique they have?

I have quick look on the Page Ranking 10 website hosting lists through these links; www. searchenginegenie.com/pagerank-10-sites.htm , www. seocompany.ca/pagerank/pr-10-pages.php, I found statcounter.com is listed their , I can understand Adobe, google, aple deserve for PR 10, just wondering how website hosting like www. statcounter.com has obtained the same position of PR 10 ??

It is possible that due to the popularity of statcounter, it has received second highest backlinks (1,330,000) after Google. You can consider each backlink as a vote for statcounter by all other website hostings which are of course quality votes. Interestingly I think that most of the backlinks might have a different IP address as well. No doubt that if any other website hosting has such kind of backlinks/votes or even more will rank as a Page Ranking 10 website hosting.

PageRank is calculated on the basis of incoming links to a website hosting. All those website hostings mentioned above would have obviously obtained quality backlinks to get a Page Ranking 10 including statcounter.com. I don't think it's related to the quantity of backlinks. Google has stated this time and again that it's the quality of links that matters more than the quantity.

Page Ranking is mostly based on incoming links, quality links and not quantity. Probably the website hostings you have mentioned above would have had quite a few quality incoming links from a long time which would have helped in maintaining their Page Ranking.

All these website hostings which has PR10 are just an example of how important are quality and relevant backlinks for a good and decent Page Ranking. Sites exchanging links with irrelevant website hostings and website hostings which has a lower Page Ranking than theirs doesn’t help much but in fact may get the website hosting down.
