Revamped website - feedback please

I'm currently revamping one of my website hostings and could do with some feedback, as it's quite different to the existing site.

A bit of both, as I'm unpaid though am on the club's committee and have been running the web site hosting since around 2002. For anyone curious they can look back through the web archive http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.stneotsfc.net

WoW.. Man.. I just love football.. you can understand the feeling when you can't see the grounds for weeks... I'm being attracted to the greens...
The new web site hosting is "Beautiful..." but still it'd still need to be lil colorful & a bit of shaping up Nice work.. & Best Wishes !

I think the picture height should be slightly minimized because it is taking almost half portion of the home page.

Just a brief post to say that the new web site hosting has now gone live at http://www.stneotsfc.com

I've been trying to avoid reducing the 'feature' image height as I think it may cause some problems when trying to crop images to fit, though I think long term I may reduce it to 275px.

Thought I may as well use the existing thread for this. Anyhow I'm currnetly working on a revamped archive for the website hosting and am interested to see what people think of it...
Existing URL: Archive - St Neots Town F.C.
New/Test URL: Archive2 - St Neots Town F.C.
...you'll need to ignore the sub-menu which features on the new archive pages/sections, as these pages are running from part of the old URL set up (eg. Archive - St Neots Town F.C.)

Very nice design and layout..just one comment, as mentioned in another reply, you could do well by reducing the size of the header, as it seems to take a little too much space of the homepage..But otherwise, a neat site!
