Default cPanel Collaborates with Microsoft

Hello,

I was just browsing the web and found this link which I think is worth sharing with all eUKHost forum members:

http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/p...ngCon07PR.mspx

Yes,, Microsoft have announced their collaboration with cPanel.

What a news to start the day with..!!!

Thanks for the link Martin.

I hope to dear god this doesn't mean that Microsoft are contemplating eating cPanel. I went with Linux to get away from Microsoft

Thumbs up

Heya! That's a good news indeed, I would say. Simply coz I am very confident about cPanel's/cPanel teams efficiency and perfectness to get the most out of what services the control panel is meant for. They've already proved themselves w.r.t. Linux Platform and I'm sure they'll even come upto the customers expectations on Window Platform too!
Infact I am a bit concerned about other CP providers like Plesk, Hosting Controller, Helm, Ensim, etc. for their expected downfall in the Hosting Market after the new cPanel Windows Support release!

That is really good news though it's too late, I think they should have came out with such solutions earlier.

Thanks for the link Martin. It definitely sounds the other way round to what I originally thought then - sounds like Microsoft want and need cPanel to make a release for Windows which I agree would be a great idea as it will allow Windows users as well as the current Linux users to continue enjoying cPanel and all of its wonderful features. Its probably what Windows servers need to become more popular however at the moment I am still sticking with Linux I think however this is a very big step in the right direction for Microsoft .
