domains hosting country - UK Web Hosting | Dedicated Server Windows and Linux VPS Forum

Hi,

If a domain has been regeistered and is being managed on a german server (1and1), but they have setup the Name Servers to point to UK servers (eUKHost). Will that domain be classed by Google as being hosted in Germany or UK?

I would imagine/hope it is the UK as that is where the actual web server is.

Google would classify your website hosting as hosted in UK if the Name servers point to UK servers and the physical location of the server where your website hosting is hosted is in UK.
