Default Email redirect

Hi

When I redirect my email to a btinternet.com only one seems to get through.

How ever if I redirect them to my other site, which then sends them to the same btinternet account they get through Ok.

I have 4 email accounts and this happens on them all.

Any idea of why this should happen?

Also is it possible to redirect the same email to 2 different email accounts?

Thanks

Colin

This is probably because of Yahoo/BT's mail deferral policies that have been discussed at length in other recent forum threads in respect of SPF records, for example: Slow email?

Does your domain have an SPF record and (optionally) is set up for DomainKeys?

Looks like Bt is the problem then.

It's not to much of a problem as I can send it another email account which then forwards it onto BT.

Regrads: Does your domain have an SPF record and (optionally) is set up for DomainKeys?

I have no idea what this meens could you tell me how to find out please?

Also is there a way of setting up redirct to 2 differnt email accounts?

Thanks

Colin

That's why I gave the link to another thread that explains it in a lot more detail! Yes it's a load of pages — sorry!

For more direct assistance over this (and because eUKhost knows which domain(s) you might be referring to and which server(s) might be involved) I suggest you open a ticket to ask them to sort it out — unless YOU have a reseller account you can't change your DNS records and, depending who is the registrar of your domain(s), you might not be able to add the required record(s) there either — you've provided insufficient info here ...

If you're talking cPanel and Linux hosting, just add forwarders for any email address to be sent to multiple destinations — I presume that's what you require? Again, examples would have been useful ...
