Default Error 406 with SMF

Hi,
I have now managed to transfer my forum over, (smf) "www.perfectparrots.co.uk"
The transfer went well but now I have problems with a couple of functions returning error 406.

I have looked into this as much as I can and keep coming accross "Mod security"
Now I havnt got a clue ?????

Just wondering if anyone could help ??

Rgds Stuart.

Thanks Eidolol,
I have seen one of these before, but the common factor seems to be mod_security, which Nick disabled on the server I think, I ended up with internal server errors !
Not sure how to get round this.
Stuart.

You got error after he disabled mod_security for your account ?

If yes, then you need to remove mod_security code from your .htaccess file which should be there in your public_html

Hi, yes I have now deleted the mod security code in the .htaccess file, I didnt in the first place (forgot !) this did cause the inital error500 internal server error. Once deleted I got access to the site again, but still error 406?
