Default Formmail

Hi. I am a new customer and found that in place of the common Formmail script, there is a "cgimail" . I talked with tech support through live chat and they send me a link to configure the "cgiemail". This script seems far more complicated to configure than the Formmail I have used some times in the past, even, for each new form I create I would need a new template.

Is it possible to use the Formmail instead of the cgiemail?

Thanks.

Rafael Laudo

Yes, you can use the normal formmail script instead of the cgimail, please refer these 2 links for the best, user-friendly & the easiest formmail scripts..

Link1 & Link2

Simply configure the form & upload it to your cgi-bin folder. Once done, redirect your html pages/forms to post through it
Get back if you have any other thoughts/questions

Thanks Rock as your reply has just given me the answer to a question I was about to ask. I used link 2 which was brilliantly simple to set up and get working with my pre-designed forms. The forms were FP forms so as a consequence of the FP extensions being removed my forms stopped functioning. I had never used forms other than FP forms so this was a bit of a wilderness experience for me. So thank you again for providing some excellent info Rock
