Is there anywhere I can host my website for free but still keep a normal url address?

Plenty of places that are not even worth searching for. If you have a good website you want to be stable free is the last place you should go just to save a few pound.

how much should i expect to pay? i dont have a lot of money. will adverts cover the costs?

For a basic package GBP 29.99 or $50 or EUR 26 per year including the domain. Its so cheap it is not even worth considering free hosting tbh.

If you are short at your budget you can start with shared Copper package which cost £29.99 / year…. ( domain registration are charged extra ).
Paid hosting services are always better in terms of reliability, uptime guarantee and hosting support as compare to Free webhosting where you have many restrictions and limitations.
My vote goes for eUkhost if you are looking for reliable & honest webhosting service provider.

Passing hours to earn few pennies do not worth. I think you should join EUK Affiliate Program. You can seek permission from EUK to post the affiliate link on your website. If they allow you to do so, you can earn a good income without any efforts

Certainly, if you are a customer of EUKhost, you can upgrade your package at any point of time and you will only have to pay the price difference between the 2 packages when you upgrade your package

Yes I guess, you can put a banner on your domain, once a visitor clicks on it, s/he would be taken to the affiliate link.

All you need to do is sign-up for our affiliate program and add the unique affiliate referral link on your website or link it to eUKhost banner you add on your website. All activity and orders processed through the referral link are tracked by our affiliate tracking system.

Just signed up as an Affiliate. I have contacted the Web Developer to edit my website and get an EUK banner with an Affiliate link on it
