How do I start webhosting from home? Without going to reseller & what tools do I need? need help setting up a Server ? Isp? Etc, Cost?

Hi,

You can't realistically expect to start a Webhosting company from home. In theory, you could buy/build a server and set it up on a broadband connection, but customers would need to be absolutely crazy to sign up with you.

Reseller is the way to go, you at least have a quality assurance then.

Plus reseller accounts with eUK are cheap and the service is great. That and they can deal with all (if any) server issues while you sit back and relax.

You'll need a quick internet connection - so quick, it's not even possible to get the type of connection you need in a home. You can consider co-location if you wish.

Plus you'd never get uptime above around 50% i reckon! With how cheap web hosting is these days it is really unnecessary as well.

well to set-up an internet conneciton at your home , you need an speed internet connection , you should availble round the clock to talk to the customers for new connections as well as you need to provide good service to the existing customers.

I've seen many beginner exploring these home-based Web hosting company... the conclusion is that you can't do that right. There is many concerned, for example ServiceUptime, support quality, server performance, Internet connection, DNS issue, etc.

its the best to start with reseller hosting account at the minimum

If you really want to do this from home, reseller is prob the only way possible. Unless you have the money to deck out your house with gear.
