Yes. I do agree with what you have said as personally I have worked on all windows control panels including Plesk, Helm, Ensim, Winpanel & HSphere but none could meet my expectations of requirements.

I have worked for at least 6 months with all above mentioned control panels so my judgment should not be questioned

I would have backed Plesk as I have used it. I think you should go with the choice of the more experienced people here but at the same time H-Sphere is also gr8.

Hsphere is great when it comes to running only windows part of it, but one needs to remember that email service, mysql, pgsql as well as control panel of hsphere runs through linux and hsphere has left many many security loop holes in last couple of years which allow hackers to root the server in couple of hours.

Upgrades and updates have been close to nil in hsphere and one cannot conitnue with such control panels in long run.

I hate the wheel in Plesk which keeps on rotating when you make any configuration changes. If you see the wheel moving for more than a minute then you should be good to figure out that it will produce some new errors.

I have heard a lot, not postive, about Plesk for windows. As it gives lots of trouble in restoring from a backup. So whoever is using and praising it right now, be careful with it.

I don't wish to get harsh but control panels like Helm, Ensim, Plesk and HSphere have created wrong image about windows hosting.

many leading windows web hosting companies are running windows hosting without control panel and they have retained their customers from long time. I cannot list names of our competitors but they have done well so far as windows is really good to manage if you manage it properly.

Some of the biggest website hostings in the world are running on windows servers and the specialty of windows is the way it managed load and visitors. If you have more visitors then the server will slow down and reduce the performance but it wont overload itself and crash like what happens with Linux Servers sometimes. There are many other good features in windows.

If I need a control panel interface then I would prefer hosting controller only or else I will choose plain windows server. Hosting controller never installs softwares under its ownership and one needs to install softwares as windows wants them to be installed. I think this is the reason for success of hosting controller on windows as it never interferes with what Billy hates.
