With my domain emails, I receive from EUK and send via ISP. I sent a couple of emails earlier today via ISP and they were returned from Hotmail with:
SMTP error from remote mail server after MAIL FROM:<?@??> SIZE=5885:
host mx1.hotmail.com [65.54.245.8]: 550 SC-001 Mail rejected by Windows Live Hotmail for policy reasons. Reasons for rejection may be related to content with spam-like characteristics or IP/domain reputation problems. If you are not an email/network admin please contact your E-mail/Internet Service Provider for help. Email/network admins, please visit
MSN Postmaster for email delivery information and support
Thinking it may be because the domain and smtp didn't tally, I sent it via EUK's webmail service and received exactly the same rejection email. In the unlikely event both email servers are blacklisted y Hotmail, any ideas what else may be the problem? I have raised a ticket, but that just asks if the EUK servers on on the list and not on what else the problem may be.
Thanks
Mark
