Is it possible to identify the server which a domain say domain.com is using i.e is it windows, linux or apache? Thanx in advance

yep. Service scan allows you to find that information. Simply search for "Domain Dossier" in google and you will find the tool to find out what server is being used by a website hosting.

If you find it difficult to understand from service scan then let me know.
