Exclamation MS SQL Server DB Limit

Hi Guys,

I have noticed on your Windows Gold Hosting (and infact all types) that you advertise unlimited databases:

Quote:
MS SQL Server is a powerful database engine designed by Microsoft to provide fast access to stored data. You can create unlimited number of Databases in MS SQL Server with your windows hosting account on our servers.
I have just attempted to create a third database for my domain and found out there is actually a limit of 2 per domain. Is this correct or an issue with my account?

If it is correct, may I suggest you update your webpages to reflect this as it is obviously misleading.

There is no limit prescribed by us on the no. of databases you can create on your account. Please let us know your domain name so we can check the issue.

The domain is northantsguides.com.

I have just checked the control panel and the summary of the domain and it shows:
Used Limit
MySQL databases 0 2
MS SQL Server databases 2 2
Shared SSL links 0 2

EOTB, I suggest that you open a ticket with support@eukhost.com as this will help you get the matter sorted quicker, and will provide you with better monitoring.

plan configuration for your account looks incorrect. You will need to open a ticket for our windows support department to get this sorted.

I can say after creating well more than 3 databases on my account (albeit MySQL databases) there is no limit on the number of databases (as long as you have enough space left for them!).

Hope you got your problem sorted EOTB!

Just recieved the reply back and it is an easy solution. Under the domain in the limits option - you can set all the limits for that domain. - all sorted!
