O2 problems

I've been getting contacted by users of some of my websites who have O2 - or the O2-owned BE - as their ISP. They haven't been able to access any of my sites - or others at EUKHOST - for over a fortnight. I know that the site works fine and the problem is that the ISPs are not updating their DNS servers - but this should take about a day, not two weeks.

Is there anything EUKhost can do to prod O2 into updating all their DNS servers - as over two weeks seems ridiculous and this must damage EUKhost as much as me? (Incidentally this doesn't affect every O2 user, just a batch on a certain DNS server)

Hi Paul,

Please let me know if you havea ticket open with the list of domains having this problem. I will personally check if there's anything wrong with the Nameservers of these domains or the DNS service on your server.

If something is wrong with O2 servers, then there's nothing much we can do from here.

We use o2 broadband and we were having the same trouble. I found a link on the o2 forum that fixes it.

How To Use OpenDNS With O2 Broadband - ADSL Helper Forums

There are other links for XP users and Mac 10.4.
